NINA LOUISE JENSEN , ARCHITECT (MAA) AND FESTVALORGANISERNina Louise Jensen graduated from the Royal Danish School of Architecture in 2005.She has worked at 3 different architects studios, among them a studio in Iceland, and later at the danish office Jes Vagnby Arkitektur & Identitet. Here she worked with identity development and physical planning of Roskilde Festival 07 and 08.Together with Katrine Vejby she created the concept and brand CO2PENHAGEN – The world’s first CO2-neutral festival. During 2008-2009 they raised funds to work and run the festival. KATRINE VEJBY RADIOPRODUCER - JOURNALIST - FESTIVAL ORGANISER +4528506764 katrine@co2penhagen.com Katrine started working for BBC Radio Leicester at the age of 19. After three years she moved to London to work for the BBC Worldservice in Bush House. She worked as a freelance producer for programmes such as Europe Today, the John Peel Show, Multitrack Alternative, Megamix, Chill Out, The Edge (with Steve Merchant who later wrote The Office), What’s News and Joe Strummer’s “London Calling” radio series. She also covered the Brit Pop Scene for the Danish National Radio and did radiofeatures with bands such as Placebo, Moloko and Belle and Sebastian – before they released their first albums. In London she wrote articles for Danish newspapers on art, youth and music. When she was 25, she was made permanent BBC staff. For six years she worked as a producer for BBC Worldservice flagship-programme magasin programme Outlook. Outlook is broadcast everyday and goes out to 150 listeners around the world. She travelled with Outlook to Cape Town and produced a 24 hour broadcast on the Table Mountains to celebrate BBC Worldservices 70th birthday. On her return to Denmark she wrote the radioconcept for Nyhedsministeriet, a daily news programme on TV2 Radio (a new national radio) and was the editor for the programme the first 6 months. “Nyhedsministeret” won the adward for the best news programme in Denmark in September, the same year as it started. Together with Nina she wrote the concept for CO2PENHAGEN festival. They fund raised and organising the festival with about 1000 volunteers. The first Carbon Neutral festival in the world (with all energy produced on location) was held just outside CO2PENHAGEN in September 2009 More info: www.katkatkat.com |
